Carpark Allocation System
13 years
When Luke's mum had trouble getting a park at The Plaza's new carpark, Jamie and Luke's problem solving skills were spurred into action and work on their carpark allocation system began.
The best part about developing our project was etching PCB's for the first time. It was really exciting watching the PCB's etch and seeing the final result. However, the hardest part was initially trying to get the PCB's to work - after many hours of working it was finally successful.
LUKE: In my spare time I enjoy swimming, maths, science and kicking a football around with my mates. My dream job is in medicine, and I plan to study at the University of Auckland.
JAMIE: In my spare time I enjoy working on my computer, film, photography, graphic design and playing the guitar. I've been a Bright Sparks member for 18 months and enjoy getting information and assistance from others. I'm not sure what tertiary study I'll do, but my dream job is to work in photography or graphic design.
