Tara Potter and Breanna Morgan
Concerned about the growing rates of childhood obesity, Tara and Breanna's project looks at the relationship between food intake and energy outputs, with interesting results!
The best part about developing our project was solving problems we had with measuring exercise and trying to come up with innovative ideas on how to fix these problems. The hardest part was trying to get accurate results around the the excercise the Picaxe was measuring.
You might have guessed it, but in our spare time we enjoy keeping fit and healthy by playing lots of sports. We enjoy basketball, netball and surf lifesaving the most.
In our opinion, many inventions have made a huge impact on peoples lives, but we think that an important one is electricity. This is because we rely on it and use it all the time and it's made life so much easier and enjoyable.
We'd like to thank our science teachers who've encouraged and inspired us to create our project. Their help has been invaluable in developing our ideas.
