Micro Log
16 years
Daniel created the microLOG, a device that records data and transmits it via the internet.
Initially I was trying to build a datalogger that took data and then graphed it but the communication protocol was out of my reach, and so that fell on its face. Not wanting to accept defeat I continued with the project and learnt a whole bunch about the PICAXE micro along the way.
The hardest part about completing my project was time. I am good at procrastinating and found it very hard to stay on deadline! Building this project has taken up most of my spare time, but I love working with electronics - you should see my workbench! I also like to play games with TeamIPX - a gaming team from way back! I've played guitar for about 7 years now too, so having a jam here and there is not uncommon.
I signed up to the Bright Sparks forum about this time last year and now I log in at least once a day. I love that there are other New Zealanders my age interested in electronics - I love helping out members, and being helped out by others in return.
