NSR Transfer
17 years
Driven to develop a device which allows for files to be transferred without the need for a computer, Abhilash created NSR Transfer.
Flash drives are becoming more and more popular and it's really annoying having to find a computer to transfer files between people, so I decided to make a device which allows for file transfer without the need for a computer.
There was an insane amount of things I learnt while developing my project and there were many stages where I got stuck, but eventually all the issues got ironed out! Driving the LCD was the hardest part. It required a lot of code to even get to the stage where I can control a pixel and although I ported the code from the MicroChip Libraries [with the help of my classmate Ethan Oldale and my teacher] there were still many issues which needed solving - and I needed to get the actual transferring to work! The signal was never strong enough while transferring, but after many days with the oscilloscope and a bit of help from my teacher I finally got through.
