Tim's rescue robot is a striking wheeled robotic platform that can be operated by a TV remote through infra-red control - a very responsive device.
I thought it would be a cool idea to make a rescue robot after seeing a few movies where big rescue missions were carried out.
The hardest part of developing my project was getting the remote to work as the program was very complicated. After finally overcoming this problem it was extremely rewarding actually seeing it work with the remote.
In my spare time I love to make videos of trains and put them on YouTube. I also enjoy building model trains and am currently building a model of the Flying Scotsman locomotive. If I could I would invent a super high speed train like the Maglev but mine would have no noise and a very low energy consumption level.
