Support Bright Sparks

Bright Sparks is always looking for people and organisations to partner with to improve technology learning outcomes for students, and open their eyes to new career paths in the hi-tech industry. There is a ton of ways you can get involved.

Mentoring: If you’re interested in technology and know a thing or two, become a mentor to Bright Sparks. Maybe you’re working in the hi-tech industry, maybe you’re a hobbyist who wants to share your knowledge, or maybe you’re a university student who would like to lend a hand – we want you! Send an email to skillschoice@skills.org.nz or join the Bright Sparks Club and dive right into our forum.

Industry connections: Bright Sparks is about opening young peoples' eyes to the hi-tech industry. If you could help us by hosting a group of students in your workplace, or maybe offering a work experience/internship opportunity to a winner of our Bright Sparks Competition, get in touch with us!

Sponsorship: The Bright Sparks Competition gets nationwide media coverage, and our website gets thousands of hits while the competition is running. If you would consider offering prizes or sponsorship to winning Bright Sparks, we would like to talk with you. Send an email to Event Manager Sophie Czurajewski-Sweeney at sophiec@skills.org.nz.
