Temperature Data Relay
16 years
After seeing how uncomfortable an elderly relative was in hospital when they kept having to have their temperature taken, James was driven to come up with a solution.
My invention is designed to eliminate the discomfort of frequently having your temperature taken by automatically measuring temperature and relaying data to a computer through a serial port. The hardest part was integrating all of the parts into a box and having it work successfully - so it was pretty rewarding when I got it all finished!
In my spare time I enjoy cracking things open and playing around with anything I can get my hands on and I am pretty interested in web development too.
After studying at university I would like to get an engineering job in either electronics or telecommunications
