you could buy a battery charger or..., you could be creative and bulld a good looking unit for under $0-50 depending on youre luck of parts, this one im about to show you is a 16volt @2 amp, varable power supply or fixed volatge battery charger. also if you don't want to spend even that i have another idea! of cource i have to introduce my supervisor for the inspecton. Mojo, hehe looks like he just woke up still alittle sleappy there mojo? heres what it looks like in the front pannel, its a bit rusty but my teacher lives near the sea so its bad news. heres a picture of the inside. a main component if cargeing a car battery , rectifier. "don't want the palarity switching" ok thats it, now to get on with a new idaer for a cheep battery carger, that's right, found in any old computer , desktop/tower. any old one will do!! ummmm, we have some wires. and here we have got some nice clips to nicely attach the battery too, alittle coroded but thats not the point ---------------now to have a closer look-------- NB: this is an older power supply as well there easer to get lol, and to dealwith. all we want to know is +12DC @ 4.2A -here we have with cover off, ready to see what we can do, volt meter says, 11-12volts, must be a worn power supply oh well here we are cutting the unnessery wires, (we only want the +12and +5volt) thses are mainly the cd drive power cables hard drive etc, heres what the wires look like and also my arangement for the cabes ie: the chocalate block conecting them ready for the next prosedure. and of cource, what all battery chargers should have is "battery clips in order to conect & dissconect the battery easely and what it all looks like, with out the other mess of the wires, all conected, why i had the +5volts as well as my motor bike has a 6volt battery and you could also use this to charge motorbikes, fan cooled/ and enclosed in a safe neat box. dave's email / sparky114@gmail.com http://img458.imageshack.us/img458/1453/mojo5wp.png dave's email / sparky114@gmail.com http://img458.imageshack.us/img458/1453/mojo5wp.png 2 pts

hi guys just want to inform u on the computer power supply to charge a car battery, well all day i put it to the test, ummmm, yes there is power comming out yes palarity is right, but i think the problem is that the out put voltage is 12 volts if a 12 volt car battery the battery will cont charge, so time to mod the power supply, now its obously a switch mode power supply im going to show you a photo on where you may be able to change the voltage by a volt or two, yes just 2 volts makes a big diffrence. now depending how large that came out where my finger or so is theres a little trim pot, have a little play of cource keep away from the other side. or if youre power supply is being an ass you may have to loacate a few resisters then change around to suit the desired voltage , il go for +14volts dave's email / sparky114@gmail.com http://img458.imageshack.us/img458/1453/mojo5wp.png 1 pt

not to worry about thoses voltages, just if pokeing aroun with screw driver pull th plug out. or what would you do? make sure the capp's were discharged before you looked at it, or/and are there other precutons you could take ? nope Cough Cough wont bother cleaning that power supply, but a little off the topic you may say a good way to clean d. usty boards/part you just remove the deliacte parts in....put them in to the dishwasher, or i have used the washingmachine once then put in the oven on the lowest it can go!! for a cople of hours. wala nice and dry and clean not sure if you agree there andrew but , it worked with somoke alarms -to- that navey signal conter yip 13.8, but just to round it off i thorght il go for 14 volts. just another queston, why dident anyone say it was inposible to charge a car battery on 12volts? above 13.8 it must be. dave's email / sparky114@gmail.com http://img458.imageshack.us/img458/1453/mojo5wp.png

Wow, thanks for you nice sharing. If I have no 400w power inverter - my cheap car battery charger. Maybe I will buy one of this. Last year, friend recommend this charger to me to charge laptop, shave, camera battery and phone in car when camping outside. Now I totally mastered how to use it. If you want to catch more details about this car battery charger, you can search bestekmall on Google. Wish this tip is helpful to you. Best wishes.
