Hi guys

An Update on where i a m at with my job.

Still working for Transfield Services in Tauranga.

Over the past year i have been involved in discussion groups here is a brief about each

 

  1. An Audio (Phone conference) about how we can use todays technology to preform better and improve real time updates across multiple systems.
  2. A Technology Forum where i was a Keynote Speaker, displaying the Benefits of HTC Smartphones and Demo a Working unit for those present, We also talked about how to integrate Job dispatching across the business to become a more greener company by reducing the amount of paper wasted due to printing and faxing jobs around the country.

Out of the 13 people at the technology forum, I was the only one who didn't hold a management position and also the youngest.

Present at this meeting was the General Manager of our business and he was very impressed with my Knowledge and wants to see me grow my ideas ands look at establishing a National standard for Mobile device Management

 

I am also getting involved in http://www.xda-developers.com/

A Message for those who are wanting to be seen in your field of work, Talk to your managers about your ideas, Keep them updated with new info, through doing this I am now getting opportunities that i would have not had if i kept it to myself. Be herd, Be seen
