The Smart Tripod allows for a camera to be perfectly level when mounted on a tripod. It also allows for panoramic photos to be taken, rotating automatically to pre-determined settings to allow for an overlap.

The best part about developing this project was learning about things like serial communications, pulse width modulation and microcontroller theory.  I found it difficult designing the mechanical arms that connected the servo and camera mount, as the arm had to be able to bend left and right, as well as go forward and back.
