Audible Dog Locator
Louis Hewitson-TownleyFarm Cove Intermediate
A receiver, worn by the dog, can be triggered to produce a high-pitched tone by a transmitter the owner holds if the dog wanders off. Louis invented the Audible Dog Locator after he and his family were walking their dog early one morning and couldn't see him because it was still dark. He thought it could also be used to train dogs to return to their owner if they hear the sound emitted by the devise.
The Audible Dog Locator won the People's Choice Award, Junior Best Work-in-Progress Award, and was a finalist in the 12 and Under Category, brilliant idea Louis!
