Profile Info

The Visual Plane Locating System (VPLS) uses Raspberry Pi and a webcam to capture images and track QR codes found within them. When a QR code is found, it produces the location and displays it via a screen. The VPLS is intended to be used to find and track airplanes in real time through satellites, reducing the risk of planes never being found in disasters.

Benjamin won Best Junior Concept, fantastic work!
